2 blocks of natural limestone (65x70x270, 60x75x250)
The roundabout near Überlingen (South Germany) first had to be modelled like the surrounding landscape, inclined towards the south-east. Two blocks of natural limestone form a portal situation, a bed of limestone gravel leads up to the two stones in a generous curve. Three hornbeam trees will grow and balance the mighty stones on the leeward side.
This setting works as a landmark, visible from afar and changing its gesture as one drives around it.
