The space in front of the town hall of Herdwangen (south of Germany) was to be reworked. The form of the water-stone follows the clear gesture of the environment: horizontally resting, the upper stone is like the building itself, whereas the lower stone, very elongated, prepares the water-channel to lead the water across the garden space. The village setting was the source of the inspiration to design the piece in the manner of a water trough.
